Originally founded by parents Stephen and Lucie Allen, Sitters is now one of Britain’s leading childcare providers. During 2006 Sitters merged with Childminders of London, originally established in 1967 and the capital’s most successful babysitting service for more than 30 years. Together Sitters has more experience than anyone in selecting suitable carers and arranging evening babysitting.

Over five decades Sitters has filled millions of individual childcare appointments – both evening babysitting and daycare in the family home. During that time they have supplied childcarers to some of the very biggest names in pop and rock, comedians, footballers, TV celebs and politicians. All have one thing in common – they all want the very best care for their children.

Today the enthusiastic and dedicated team are able to provide evening babysitters in all but the most remote locations. With a nationwide network of many thousands of carefully vetted, experienced childcarers Sitters is able to provide babysitters for more than 95% of the requests received from across the UK.
